Merge medieval units to upgrade their tier and defend your royal crown from endless waves of incoming enemies.
How to play
- Tap the spawn button to buy a new random unit using your collected gold.
- Drag a unit onto another of the exact same tier to merge them into a stronger class.
- Watch your units automatically target and attack incoming normal, armored, swarm, and boss enemies.
- Use the clear and drop buttons when their cooldowns finish to manage your board space.
- Survive as many waves as possible and heal your crown during the grace period if it falls.

In Crown Guard: Merge Tactics, you must defend your crown from endless waves of enemies. You earn gold by defeating foes, which you spend to spawn new defenders on the grid. Dragging two units of the same tier together merges them into a much stronger fighter. As the waves progress, enemies spawn faster and gain more health. If your crown's health drops to zero, a grace period begins. You must quickly heal the crown by defeating enemies before the timer runs out, or the run ends in defeat.
Tips
- Merging two Tier 1 units creates a specific Tier 2 unit based on their types, like combining two bows to make a long bow.
- Merging two Tier 2 units creates a powerful Tier 3 legend unit, which deals massive damage and has special traits like area-of-effect or piercing attacks.
- Use the clear button to sell all Tier 1 units for at least 9 gold each when your board is full and you need space.
Questions
How do I get more gold?
You earn gold by defeating enemies. Normal enemies drop 7 gold, armored drop 12, swarms drop 5, and bosses drop 38. You also get a 9 gold bonus for every 8 enemies defeated in a kill chain.
What happens when my crown loses all its health?
A grace period timer starts. You immediately receive 42 gold and two free high-tier units. During this time, your crown has zero health, and you must defeat enemies to heal it back to a safe level.
How do I heal my crown during the grace period?
Defeating enemies restores health to your crown. Bosses heal 16 health, armored enemies heal 6, and normal enemies heal 4. If you heal the crown past 18 percent of its maximum health, the grace period ends and you survive.
