More about this game
Mega Bark Challenge is a turn-based timing game where two players compete over three rounds to see whose dog has the loudest bark. Player 1 controls Rex, and Player 2 controls Mochi. Each turn, a needle swings continuously across a bark meter. Your goal is to stop the needle directly in the center sweet spot. The closer you are to the middle, the louder the bark, pushing the postman further away. The run ends after both dogs complete three turns, and the highest score wins.
Tips
- Aim for a Mega Bark by stopping the needle with less than a ten percent error to score the maximum 120 points and spawn 28 particles.
- Even if you miss the exact center, hitting a Big Bark over 76 points still pushes the postman significantly further down the street.
- The needle swings back and forth at a constant speed, so try to watch it complete a full cycle to get into a steady rhythm before tapping.
Questions
How do I get a Mega Bark?
You get a Mega Bark by stopping the needle perfectly in the center of the sweet spot. This awards a flat 120 points and pushes the postman back by over 400 units.
How many rounds are in a full game?
A full game consists of exactly 3 rounds. Player 1 (Rex) and Player 2 (Mochi) each take one turn per round, meaning there are six total barks before the winner is decided.
What happens if I miss the sweet spot entirely?
If you stop the needle at the far edges, your dog lets out a weak yip. This scores fewer than 42 points, barely moves the postman, and triggers a squeaky fail sound.
