More about this game
In Hexbound, you face off against the Demon Lord in a series of six rituals. Your mage automatically fires magic bolts while you focus on dodging incoming projectiles, giant fireballs, and dark storms. Between rounds, you choose hexes to upgrade your attacks, speed, or barrier. The Demon Lord gains health and new attack patterns with each ritual. The run ends when you lose your 100 HP or successfully survive the final ritual.
Tips
- Save your barrier for unavoidable attacks like the giant fireball or dark storm.
- The Demon Lord gains new attacks in later rituals, like a slash and a dive.
- Stacking the same hex, like Chain Lightning or Freeze Rune, increases its power.
Questions
How do I heal?
You recover 50% of your max HP between rituals. You can also choose the Mending Hex upgrade to instantly recover 25% HP, or use the Thorns upgrade to heal when your barrier absorbs damage.
How many rituals are there?
There are six rituals in total. The Demon Lord's health increases each round, and new attacks are unlocked as you progress.
What does the barrier do?
The barrier blocks incoming damage for a short time. It has a base cooldown of 5.3 seconds, which can be reduced with the Wider Barrier upgrade.
