More about this game

A.C.U DRAUGHT: THE ROYAL is a classic strategy board game where you aim to capture or block all opposing ebony pieces using your gold pieces. You can play against the computer, challenge a local friend on one device, or compete in a four-round championship mode to earn trophies. Difficulty scales by choosing between Beginner, Warrior, King, and Legend computer opponents. A match ends when one side loses all pieces, cannot make a legal move, or if a draw triggers after 3 repetitions or up to 80 quiet moves.

Tips
  • In English rules on the 8x8 board, men only move and capture forward, while kings can move and capture in both directions.
  • In Brazilian and International rules, men can capture backwards, and kings can fly diagonally across empty squares to capture distant pieces.
  • When multiple captures are available in Brazilian or International rules, the game forces you to choose the path that takes the largest number of pieces.
Questions

How do I win the game?

You win by capturing all of your opponent's ebony pieces, or by blocking them so they cannot make any legal moves on their turn.

What happens if a game gets stuck?

The match automatically ends in a draw if the exact same board position repeats three times, or if no captures occur for 30 to 80 moves depending on the ruleset.

How do I get a king?

A piece becomes a king when it reaches the farthest row on the opponent's side of the board. In English rules, crowning immediately ends your turn.
