More about this game
Your goal is to earn $5,000 by completing illicit jobs and causing destruction across a sprawling pixelated city. Answer payphones to take on missions like assassinations, bank heists, and vehicle thefts. As you cause chaos, your police heat level rises, spawning aggressive cruisers that will ram your vehicle and drain your 100 health points. The run ends in victory if you hit the money target, or in a bust if your health drops to zero.
Tips
- Smashing props like crates and hydrants at high speeds rewards you with exactly $175 per destroyed item, making it a great way to earn cash quickly.
- If your heat level is high, lay low and avoid causing damage. Your heat level decays by half a star after 12 seconds of good behavior.
- While cars offer some protection and speed, taking too many hits from police cruisers will still drain your 100 health points and end the run.
Questions
How do I start a mission?
Look for the gold markers pointing to payphones scattered around the city. Walk close to one to automatically receive a job like a heist or assassination.
How do I lose the police?
Stop committing crimes and avoid hitting pedestrians or props. Your heat level will slowly drop by half a star every 12 seconds you stay out of trouble.
Can I leave my car?
Yes, press the action button at any time to exit your current vehicle. You will spawn right next to it and can continue exploring on foot.
