Your goal is to survive a 60-second shift by keeping an unseen entity out of the pumping station. Watch the doorways and seal the shutters when they glow red. Keeping doors closed drains your power faster, and running out of power means game over. Open the doors when it's safe to conserve energy, and hold the charge button to refill your power before the next attack. Each successful shift makes the entity faster.
Tips
- Only keep a door closed when it is actively glowing red, as closed shutters drain your limited power supply much faster than leaving them open.
- Recharge your power whenever the coast is clear, but remember that both doors must be open for the charge button to work and restore your energy.
- As you clear more shifts, the entity attacks faster. Keep your power high early on to survive the shorter warning times in later rounds.
Questions
Why did the game end when I had power?
If a doorway glows red and its breach bar empties before you seal the shutter, the entity gets inside and immediately ends your run, regardless of how much power you have left.
How do I recharge my power?
Make sure both the west and east doors are open, then press and hold the charge button in the middle of the screen to refill your power meter before the next attack.
Does the game get harder?
Yes, each time you survive a 60-second shift, the next round features shorter warning times and faster attacks from the entity. The difficulty increases until you reach the fifth consecutive shift.
