More about this game
Your goal is to satisfy three hungry monsters before they eat your bakery. Each turn, you spend 3 energy to play up to 3 cards from a hand of 4. Croissants deal damage, Crust Guards provide shields, and Berry Tarts heal your bakery. The monsters' bites grow stronger each turn, and every third turn features a heavy attack. Defeating a monster lets you choose a permanent upgrade. The run ends when you satisfy all three visitors or your bakery's health reaches zero.
Tips
- Chain your Croissant cards together! Playing multiple attacks in a row triggers a combo bonus for extra damage.
- Watch the turn counter. Every third turn, the monster deals 3 extra damage, so save your Crust Guards.
- Upgrading your Crust Guard provides +3 shield, which is crucial for surviving the final monster's heavy bites.
Questions
How do I heal my bakery?
Play a Berry Tart card to restore health. You also recover 4 health automatically when you defeat a monster and move to the next stage.
Why did my attack do extra damage?
If you play an attack card immediately after another attack card, it triggers a combo bonus. Playing a shield or heal card resets the combo.
What happens when I defeat a monster?
You get to choose a permanent recipe upgrade for the rest of the run: either a Golden Glaze for +2 damage or a Thicker Crust for +3 shield.
