In Chrono Shift, you control a golden orb navigating through a neon-lit track filled with obstacles. The goal is to survive as long as possible while grazing hazards to build Near-Miss combos for a higher score. Holding the screen slows time, allowing for precise movements, but drains your Chrono meter. Releasing the screen recharges the meter. The difficulty increases every 15 seconds as hazards fall faster and spawn more frequently. A run ends immediately if your orb collides with any hazard.
Tips
- Use the time-slow ability sparingly; it drains at 34 units per second but recharges at 17 units per second.
- Aim for Near-Misses by passing within 68 units of hazards to build a combo up to 9x.
- Keep your combo alive by grazing another hazard within 4 seconds, or the multiplier resets to 1x.

How do I slow down time?
Hold the screen (or click and hold with a mouse) to slow time. This drains your Chrono meter, which is visible at the top of the screen.
What happens when the Chrono meter runs out?
When the Chrono meter reaches 0, time returns to normal speed even if you are still holding the screen. Release to recharge it.
How is the score calculated?
You earn points passively over time, plus 100 points multiplied by your current combo for every Near-Miss you achieve.
