How to play
- Wait for a lily pad to align above your frog.
- Tap to hop forward onto the moving pad.
- Aim for pads with fireflies to score 5 bonus points.
- Avoid riding a pad off the edge of the screen.
- Keep hopping to survive as speeds increase.

In Lily Leap, your goal is to hop a frog as far up the river as possible. The core loop involves timing your jumps to land safely on lily pads that drift across the screen. As you progress, the game becomes more difficult: the pads move faster and their size shrinks. Catching fireflies on the pads earns you extra points. A run ends immediately if you miss a pad or ride one off the edge of the screen.
Tips
- The pads speed up by 2.2 units for every point you score, so adjust your timing as you progress.
- Pads shrink in size as you advance, requiring more precise timing to land safely.
- Don't wait too long on a pad; if it drifts past the edge (14 pixels from the side), you will splash and lose.
Questions
How do I score points?
You earn 1 point for every successful hop to a new lily pad. If you land on a pad with a firefly, you earn an additional 5 points.
Why did my game end?
Your run ends if you hop and miss a lily pad, or if you stay on a pad until it drifts off the edge of the screen.
Do the lily pads change?
Yes, as you progress, the lily pads move faster and their radius shrinks from 54 down to 40, making them harder to hit.
