How to play
- Watch the cake layer as it slides back and forth across the top of the screen.
- Tap or press Space to drop the moving layer onto the cake stack below.
- Align the drop perfectly to keep the layer's full width for the next turn.
- Keep stacking layers as the sliding speed increases to achieve a high score.

Your goal is to build the tallest cake tower possible by dropping sliding layers onto the stack below. Each time you tap, the current layer falls; if it overhangs, the excess is sliced off, leaving a narrower target for the next piece. The sliding speed increases by 30 units with every successful stack, making timing progressively harder. A run ends when a dropped layer completely misses the stack or overlaps by 6 units or less.
Tips
- Aim for a perfect landing within 10 units of the center to keep your cake layer at its maximum width.
- Anticipate the drop delay; the layer falls at a speed of 1540, so you must tap slightly before it aligns.
- Do not panic when the layer gets sliced; focus on centering the next drop on the new, narrower target.
Questions
How do I get a perfect score multiplier?
While there is no score multiplier, landing perfectly within 10 units of the center triggers a perfect chime and prevents your cake layer from shrinking.
Why did my game end when the cake touched the edge?
If your dropped layer overlaps the stack by 6 units or less, the game considers it a miss and ends your run immediately.
Does the game get faster over time?
Yes, the sliding speed of the cake layers increases by 30 units for every successful layer you add to your tower.
