More about this game

Minimalist Sketchpad is a sandbox drawing tool where you create art on a textured digital paper canvas. There are no timers or strict goals, allowing you to freely sketch using a brush that automatically applies a subtle shadow blur based on its size. The interface tracks your total stroke count at the top of the screen. A session continues until you decide to wipe the paper clean and start a brand new drawing.

Tips
  • The brush automatically applies a soft shadow blur equal to 12 percent of your current brush size, giving thicker lines a smoother, blended appearance.
  • The visual preview dot in the toolbar scales from 8 to 36 pixels, helping you gauge your brush thickness before you touch the canvas.
  • Use a minimum brush size of 4 for sharp, fine details, and increase it up to the maximum of 88 to quickly fill large background areas.
Questions

How do I erase my drawing?

You can wipe the entire canvas clean by clicking the Clear button at the top right of the screen, or by pressing Ctrl and Backspace together on your keyboard. This also resets your stroke count.

Can I change the brush size?

Yes, you can use the slider located at the bottom of the screen to adjust the brush size. It ranges from a minimum of 4 up to a maximum of 88.

What does the number at the top mean?

The status indicator at the top left counts exactly how many individual strokes you have made on the current canvas. It updates every time you lift your brush and resets to zero when you clear the paper.
