How to play

Move your detective around the stage using the on-screen joystick.
Walk near glowing objects and tap the Inspect button to find clues.
Approach the Cipher Chest and solve its puzzle using the facts you found.
Pick up the Hidden Key that pops out of the chest.
Bring the key to the Exit Door and tap Unlock to finish the stage.

Controls

Touch: Use the on-screen joystick to move and tap buttons to inspect or chat.
Keyboard: Not supported.
Mouse: Click and drag the on-screen joystick to move your detective, and click the action buttons to interact.

More about this game

In Medina Mystery, you explore 20 stages set in the Medina of Tunis to recover a stolen astrolabe. In each stage, you must find two glowing clues, solve the Cipher Chest puzzle, grab the Hidden Key, and unlock the Exit Door. You can choose to play as Adam or Karim, and bring up to 7 computer-controlled squad mates who help you search the area. If you answer a puzzle wrong, you lose a star from your rating, but you can try again.

Tips

Check the Clue Board if you forget the facts you found; you need them to correctly solve the chest puzzle.
Ask Uncle Saleh for a hint in the chat menu if you cannot find a glowing clue or the chest.
If you split up your squad, they will search the stage and ping you in the chat when they find a clue.

Questions

How do I open the Cipher Chest?

You must find both glowing clues in the stage first. Once you have collected them, approach the chest and tap Open chest to solve its puzzle.

What happens if I get a puzzle wrong?

If you answer a puzzle incorrectly, you lose one star from your stage rating. You can try again until you get it right and open the chest.

How do I use the squad?

You can set your squad size up to 8 before starting a stage. In the game, open the chat and tell them to follow you or split up to search.
