More about this game
In Monkey Hill Climber, your goal is to drive as far as you can across bumpy terrain without flipping over or running out of gas. The core loop involves collecting coins and fuel canisters during your run, then spending those coins to unlock new vehicles, environments, and upgrades for your engine and suspension. The hills become steeper and rougher as you progress, and a run ends instantly if you run out of fuel or land upside down.
Tips
- In the air, pressing gas tilts your vehicle backward, while pressing brake tilts it forward. Use this to land perfectly parallel to the ground.
- Upgrade your suspension up to level 5 to bounce less on rough terrain, helping your wheels stay on the ground so you can apply engine power.
- The Monster Truck costs 320 coins but has larger wheels and better grip, making it ideal for conquering the rougher hills found in the Desert world.
Questions
How do I unlock new vehicles?
You can unlock new vehicles in the shop using coins collected during your runs. The Scooter costs 140 coins, the Monster Truck costs 320, and the Race Car costs 560.
Why did my run end suddenly?
A run ends if your vehicle flips over and stays upside down for nearly a second, or if your fuel bar completely runs out while your speed drops below 45.
What do the upgrades do?
Upgrading the engine increases your acceleration and hill-climbing power. Upgrading the suspension helps your vehicle absorb bumps and maintain control on rough terrain. Both can reach level 5.
