INKBOUND: First Blood is a turn-based card battle where you must defeat the Hollow Maw and its minions. Each turn, you draw 5 cards and have 3 energy to spend on attacks, defense, or applying vulnerability. Enemies will either attack you or buff themselves. You must balance dealing damage with building block to survive incoming attacks. The run ends when you defeat all enemies or your HP reaches zero. You start with 80 HP, and must manage your resources carefully against the 42 HP Hollow Maw, 28 HP Cultist, and two 14 HP Ink Minions.
Tips
- Defend cards cost 1 energy and give you 5 block to absorb enemy attacks.
- Bash costs 2 energy, deals 8 damage, and applies 2 vulnerability to the target.
- Vulnerable enemies take 50% more damage from your attacks.
Questions
How does energy work?
You start each turn with 3 energy. Playing cards costs energy (1 for Strike/Defend, 2 for Bash). Energy resets at the start of your next turn.
What do the enemies do?
Enemies will either attack you for a set amount of damage or buff themselves with 7 block. You can see their intent above their heads.
How do I win?
You win by reducing the HP of all enemies, including the Hollow Maw and its minions, to zero before your own HP runs out.
