Firefly Tap Night is a fast-paced arcade game where your goal is to catch as many glowing bugs as possible within a 60-second time limit. Up to seven targets can appear on the screen at once, moving in wavy patterns. Each successful catch builds your combo, which increases your point multiplier up to five times. However, you must carefully avoid the red sparks. Tapping a red spark instantly breaks your combo and deducts 50 points from your score.
Tips
- Focus on building your combo. Catching five fireflies in a row increases your multiplier, allowing you to earn up to 50 points per catch.
- Watch the movement patterns. Targets drift in wavy lines and bounce off the edges, so anticipate their path before you tap.
- Red sparks disappear slightly faster than fireflies. If a spark spawns near a firefly, wait a moment for the spark to fade before tapping.
Questions
What happens if I tap a red spark?
Tapping a red spark will immediately deduct 50 points from your total score. It also resets your current combo back to zero, meaning you lose any multiplier you built up.
How long does each round last?
Every round lasts for exactly 60 seconds. The timer is displayed at the top of the screen, and it turns red when you have 10 seconds or less remaining.
How does the combo multiplier work?
Every firefly you catch adds to your combo. For every five fireflies caught in a row, your score multiplier increases by one, up to a maximum of five times the base points.
