How to play

- When the lanterns flicker, immediately hide in a coffin until the Pumpkin Ghoul passes.

Your goal is to escape ten haunted rooms on Halloween night. You must explore each room to find skeleton keys that unlock the next door. Manage your flashlight battery carefully, as it drains constantly while turned on. When the lanterns flicker, you have only a few seconds to quickly hide inside a coffin to avoid the Pumpkin Ghoul. The game ends when you find the golden key and unlock the final exit, or if the ghoul catches you.
Tips
- Turn off your flashlight when you don't need it to save battery, as it drains constantly while on.
- Memorize the locations of the coffins in each room so you can quickly hide when the lanterns start to flicker.
- Batteries restore 40% of your flashlight power, so pick them up only when your charge drops below 60%.
Questions
How do I escape the Pumpkin Ghoul?
When the room's lanterns start to flicker, you have about three seconds to find a coffin and press USE to hide inside. Wait until the ghoul passes before coming out.
What happens if my flashlight dies?
If your battery reaches 0%, your flashlight will turn off permanently, making it much harder to navigate the dark rooms and find the keys you need to progress.
How do I open the final exit?
To open the exit door in Room 10, you must find the special golden skeleton key hidden somewhere in that room.
