How to play
- Drag the lane to explore your kingdom.
- Tap BUILD to open the shop and buy traps or terrain.
- Tap an empty socket to place your selected trap or terrain.
- Tap UNLEASH WAVE to send the heroes into your maze.
- Earn gold from defeated heroes to expand your defenses.

Your goal is to protect your vault from waves of invading heroes. You start with a lane and must spend gold to build terrain and place traps in empty sockets. As you progress, the swarms grow larger and include different hero types like runners, jumpers, and climbers. Heroes will adapt to your traps, gaining resistance to overused types, so you must mix your defenses. The run ends if the heroes breach your castle and deplete your 6 vault hearts.
Tips
- Mix your trap types! Heroes gain resistance to traps they encounter often, up to a maximum of 55%.
- Use terrain to your advantage. Tunnels and shelters can protect heroes from ranged fire, but you can force them into traps.
- Combine traps for bonus damage. A spring launching a hero into a ceiling saw deals 3x damage.
Questions
How do I get more gold?
You earn gold by defeating heroes during the waves. You also get a bonus of 40 gold plus 8 per wave completed at the end of each round.
What do the different hero types do?
Runners move faster, jumpers can leap over certain traps, climbers scale walls more effectively, and builders can lay planks over spikes or lava.
Can I remove a trap or wall?
Yes, tap an existing trap or wall while in build mode to salvage it. You will receive half of its original cost back in gold.
