More about this game
In Pulse Orbit, you control an orbiter circling a central core. Your goal is to launch the orbiter through the active arc on an outer ring. You must time your shot before the 3.8-second window closes. As your score increases, the orbit speed ramps up by 0.004 per point, and target arcs shrink to a minimum of 10 degrees. Hitting decoys or missing costs one of your 4 allowed misses. The run ends when you run out of misses.
Tips
- Keep a close eye on the shot window timer at the bottom. You only have exactly 3.8 seconds to launch before taking a late penalty miss.
- Build your combo to earn more points and coins. Every 5 consecutive hits increases your coin multiplier up to 5x, but missing resets it to zero.
- Watch out for extra decoy arcs that appear once you reach 90 points. They move independently of the main targets and cost you a miss if struck.
Questions
How is my score calculated for each successful hit?
You earn a base of 10 points, plus 2 points per combo, plus 6 points per ring index. You also get a time bonus based on how much of the 3.8-second window remains.
What happens when I hit a decoy or miss the target?
Hitting a decoy arc or missing the active target entirely costs you one of your 4 allowed misses. It also immediately resets your current combo back to zero.
What can I do with the coins I earn during gameplay?
You can spend your earned coins in the shop to unlock new visual accessories for your orbiter. For example, the Ion Halo costs 1000 coins, and the Nova Crown costs 10000 coins.
