More about this game
In Root Cafe Rush, you control a Capybara Chef managing a busy tree-root cafe. Your goal is to gather ingredients like mushrooms and honey from pantry nooks, then deliver them to waiting customers at tables. Orders fill automatically when you stand near a customer with the correct items. As you clear waves, the customer count increases and their base patience drops by 0.6 seconds per wave. The run ends if your reputation falls from 10 down to zero after missing too many orders.
Tips
- You can hold up to 4 of each ingredient at a time, so always stock up fully when you pass a pantry nook to save trips.
- Serving multiple customers within the 4.5-second window builds a combo multiplier, which greatly increases your score for complex orders containing up to three items.
- Customers lose patience faster in later waves, so prioritize the ones with red bars. Choosing the Patient Fireflies perk adds 2.5 seconds to their patience.
Questions
How do I gather ingredients?
Stand near the ingredient stations for mushrooms, berries, herbs, or honey. The chef will automatically pick them up if you have space in your inventory, which holds a maximum of 4 per item.
What happens if a customer's patience runs out?
If a customer waits too long and their bar empties, they leave unserved and you lose 1 reputation point. If your reputation drops from 10 down to 0, the cafe closes and the game ends.
How do the end-of-wave perks work?
After clearing a wave, you choose one of three random perks. Swift Paws increases your movement speed by 54, Forager Apron expands your gather radius by 28, and Patient Fireflies increases customer patience.
