More about this game
Scroll-Breaker Fortunes is a cozy interactive experience where you crack open digital fortune cookies to read witty, sarcastic messages about screen time and modern habits. The core loop is simple: hold your finger or mouse on the cookie for exactly 720 milliseconds to crack it open and reveal your message. Once you finish reading, tap or swipe the paper slip away to reset the scene and grab another one. You can discover secret modes like the Incognito Bar or the Park by interacting with the screen in specific ways. Keep cracking until you run out of cookies!
Tips
- Hold the click or touch for exactly 720 milliseconds to successfully crack the cookie; releasing too early will cancel the action.
- Triple-tap the screen within 430 milliseconds to enter the Incognito Bar, which features a unique set of 25 private browsing fortunes.
- Click the right side of the Cafe screen (past 68 percent of the width) to visit the Park and wake up the sleeping tree.
Questions
How many fortunes are there to find?
There are 40 standard fortunes in the Cafe and 25 incognito fortunes in the Bar. Once you read them all, you receive a final message saying you ate all the cookies.
How do I access the Park mode?
While in the standard Cafe screen, tap or click on the right side of the screen (specifically past 68 percent of the screen width) to enter the Park and find the sleeping tree.
What happens if I keep waking the tree in the Park?
The first time you wake the tree, it regrets making eye contact. If you wake it a second time, it will bluntly tell you to go outside instead of touching digital trees.
