More about this game
In Clay Potion Pass, your goal is to sort falling potion bottles into the correct cauldrons to pass your wizard exam. The core loop involves waiting for a bottle to enter the glowing brew zone, then activating the matching cauldron. As the 60-second timer ticks down, the bottles fall 1.28 times faster every 20 seconds and spawn more frequently. A run ends in failure if you lose your three hearts to mistakes, or in victory if you reach 220 points before time runs out.
Tips
- Wait for the potion to enter the 410-pixel brew zone before tapping; tapping too early when no matching bottle is eligible costs a heart.
- Focus on the lowest potion in the zone, as the game always matches the lowest eligible bottle if multiple bottles share the same color.
- Build a combo of 3 or more to earn the maximum 30 points per match and trigger the Perfect Brew bonus.
Questions
How do I lose my hearts?
You start with three hearts. You lose one if a potion crosses the red spill line, or if you tap a cauldron when no matching potion is currently inside the glowing brew zone.
How does the combo and scoring system work?
Each consecutive correct match increases your combo. A base match awards 10 points, while higher combos add up to 20 bonus points per match. A mistake resets your combo back to zero.
Why did the potions suddenly speed up?
The game increases the falling speed of the bottles by a 1.28 multiplier every 20 seconds. You will see a Faster potions warning when the timer reaches 40 and 20 seconds remaining.
