More about this game

Pixel Bubble Pop is a retro match-3 puzzle game where you launch colored bubbles to clear the board. Your goal is to match at least three bubbles of the same color to pop them. If you fail to make a match, your shot counter decreases. After five missed shots, the ceiling drops 34 pixels lower. Clearing disconnected bubbles awards 70 points each, compared to 40 points for popped ones. The run ends immediately if any bubble crosses the red danger line at the bottom.

Tips
  • Use the walls to bounce your shots into tight spaces. The aiming guide shows exactly where your bubble will land after up to two wall bounces.
  • Focus on hitting higher clusters to drop the bubbles hanging below them. Each dropped bubble gives you 70 points instead of the standard 40 points.
  • Keep your combo alive by making consecutive matches. Starting from your second match, you earn an extra 60 points multiplied by your current combo streak.
Questions

How do I stop the ceiling from dropping?

The ceiling drops every time you miss five matches. To prevent this, you must successfully match at least three bubbles, which instantly resets your remaining shots counter back to five.

How many levels and colors are there?

You start level one with four different bubble colors on the board. Each time you clear the board, you advance a level, eventually reaching a maximum of eight active colors.

What happens if I make a mistake?

If a shot does not result in a match, it sticks to the board and reduces your shot counter. If the growing cluster crosses the bottom danger line, you lose.
