In Pixel Bomber Retro, your goal is to clear the maze by dropping bombs to destroy soft walls and defeat enemies. You start with limited bomb capacity and blast range, but destroying walls can reveal power-ups that increase your range, bomb count, or movement speed. The level ends when you defeat all enemies and step on the revealed exit. If you are caught in a bomb blast or touch an enemy, the run ends. The game features 3 levels by default, with enemy count and speed increasing as you progress.
Tips
- Bombs have a 2.4-second fuse by default, so move away quickly after placing one.
- Enemies move slower than you initially, but their speed increases by 14% each level.
- Don't trap yourself; always ensure you have a clear path away from your bomb's blast range.
Questions
How do I find the exit?
The exit is hidden under one of the soft walls. You must destroy the walls with bombs to reveal it.
What do the power-ups do?
Power-ups can increase your bomb blast range (up to 7), your bomb capacity (up to 6), or your movement speed (up to 3 levels).
Why can't I enter the exit?
Even if the exit is revealed, you must defeat all enemies in the current level before you can use it.
