How to play
- Start the run to begin climbing the canyon and face your first platform.
- Tap or click to launch your character into the air at a speed of 430.
- Wait for the right moment, as platforms are spaced up to 390 pixels apart.
- Jump before your current platform melts completely after 2.15 seconds to survive.

Aachen Canyon Jump is an endless vertical climber where you guide a character upward across a series of 330-pixel wide platforms. Once you land on a platform, a timer starts, and it begins to melt. You have exactly 2.15 seconds before the ground completely disappears. You must time your next leap carefully to avoid falling into the canyon below. The run ends if you fail to jump before the platform vanishes or if you fall off the bottom of the screen.
Tips
- Watch the melt timer bar on the platform. The platform begins to visually crumble and shake at 62 percent of its total melt time, warning you to jump immediately.
- You can buffer a jump by pressing the input up to 0.16 seconds before landing, allowing you to bounce immediately off the next platform without losing momentum.
- Do not worry about aiming your jumps. Your character automatically faces the correct direction and leaps at a fixed air speed of 430 toward the next generated platform.
Questions
How long do platforms last?
Once you land, a platform takes exactly 2.15 seconds to melt completely. If you are still standing on it when the timer runs out, the platform drops you and your run ends.
Can I control the jump direction?
No, the character automatically faces and jumps toward the next platform when you tap. If you hit the edge of the screen, your character will bounce off the invisible wall.
Is there a reward for climbing higher?
Your score increases by one point for every platform you successfully land on. Every five points, a special sound plays, and the game tracks your best overall altitude record.
