How to play
- Choose one of the five biomes from the atlas to begin your journey.
- Wander the landscape to find and collect exactly 8 scattered starlight fragments.
- Pick up the Star Brush that spawns nearby after collecting all the fragments.
- Trace the constellation by connecting the glowing stars in the exact correct order.
- Complete the constellation to trigger the 7-second restoration sequence and unlock new areas.

- Use the Arrow Keys or WASD to move your traveler around the map.

- Click and drag the mouse cursor to connect the stars in the constellation.

In Star Painter: Whispering Meadow, your goal is to restore the night sky across five distinct biomes like the Crystal Highlands and Eclipse Sanctuary. You explore the map at a walk speed of 330 to collect exactly 8 scattered fragments of starlight. Once you gather them all, a Star Brush appears nearby. Claim it to reveal a constellation puzzle, where you must trace the stars in the correct order to complete the shape. A run ends when you successfully restore the constellation, triggering a 7-second restoration sequence.
Tips
- Follow the glowing paths and natural guidance lines if you have trouble finding the 8 scattered starlight fragments within your 92-pixel pickup radius.
- You must trace the constellation stars in the correct order; if you miss a connection or make a mistake, the trace will reset and pulse.
- Take your time exploring the map; there are no enemies, health bars, or timers, allowing you to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and find every fragment.
Questions
How many fragments do I need to find?
You need to collect exactly 8 starlight fragments in each biome. Once you gather all 8, the Star Brush will spawn nearby for you to claim.
What happens if I trace the constellation wrong?
If you trace the stars out of order or miss a connection, the trace will reset with a soft sound, and you must start connecting the stars from the beginning.
Are all the maps available from the start?
Yes, all five realms, including Whispering Meadow, Crystal Highlands, Moonlit Ancient Forest, Celestial Sky Isles, and Eclipse Sanctuary, are fully unlocked for free exploration right from the main menu.
