In Kaede's Codex: Digital Dawn, you must guide Kaede Hoshino across a guarded rooftop to reach a digital terminal. You must avoid searchlights and guard patrols while jumping gaps and climbing platforms. You can enter Codex Mode to hack cameras, streetlights, and drones, which freezes nearby guards or disables drone tracking. Hacking increases your system overload, and if it reaches 100%, hacking is locked for 5 seconds. The run ends if you are caught in a blast radius or hit by a guard's shot.
Tips
- Hacking a node adds 28% to your system overload. Space out your hacks to avoid the 5-second lockout.
- Dashing costs 100 energy and requires Codex Mode to be active.
- Shooting a guard or drone will trigger an explosion and spawn corporate reinforcements.
Questions
How do I freeze a guard?
You can freeze a guard by entering Codex Mode and hacking a nearby streetlight or camera. This will short-circuit the node and freeze the nearest guard.
What happens if a drone spots me?
If a drone's searchlight catches you, it will alert ground forces and fire tracking rockets. You can hack the drone to freeze it for 4 seconds.
Why can't I hack anything?
If your system overload reaches 100%, hacking is disabled for 5 seconds while your deck cools down. You also need to be in Codex Mode to hack.
