More about this game
Shade Seeker is a color perception game where you must identify the odd tile out. You start with a small grid and 3 signal points. Finding the correct tile increases your score and streak, while tapping the wrong one costs a signal point and resets your streak. As you advance, the grid expands up to 8x8, and the shade difference decays, making the odd tile harder to spot. The run ends when you lose all your signal points.
Tips
- Build a streak to earn more points; each correct tap adds 25 extra points to your base score of 100.
- Take your time to scan the grid, as there is no time limit, but mistakes cost you one of your 3 starting lives.
- Pay close attention as the grid grows up to 8x8 and the shade difference drops toward a minimum of 3.2.
Questions
How do I score points?
You earn 100 points for finding the correct tile, plus an additional 25 points for each consecutive correct guess in your streak.
What happens if I click the wrong tile?
Clicking the wrong tile costs you one signal point (life) and resets your current streak back to zero.
Does the game get harder?
Yes, the grid size increases every 2 stages up to an 8x8 grid, and the color difference between the odd tile and the rest decreases by 10% each stage.
