More about this game
Your goal is to defeat five clay bosses in a row by countering their specific attacks. Each boss flashes a warning sign before they strike, giving you a short window to react. You must match their move with the correct counter: dodge a charge, block a stomp or shot, and attack a shield or summon. The warning timer gets faster with each stage you clear. A run ends if you lose all three of your hearts.
Tips
- Memorize the counters early: dodge beats a charge, block stops a stomp or shot, and attack breaks a shield or summon. This saves precious reaction time.
- Try to build a streak of correct counters. Every fourth consecutive correct move deals two damage instead of one, halving the time it takes to drain the boss's four health points.
- Stay focused as you climb the ladder. The base warning time of 1.35 seconds speeds up by a fraction every time you reach a new stage.
Questions
How many bosses are in the game?
There are five unique clay bosses to defeat in order: Bramble Boar, Mallow Golem, Capshot Archer, Shellbert Guard, and Crown Witch. You must beat them all in one run.
How do I heal my hearts?
You cannot heal lost hearts during a run. You start with exactly three hearts, and losing them all forces you to restart the entire ladder from the first stage.
Why did I take damage when I countered?
You either picked the wrong counter for the boss's specific attack, or you reacted too slowly. If the warning timer runs out before you act, you automatically lose a heart.
