In Neon Fluff: Synthwave Surge, you control a glowing creature flying through a digital space. Your goal is to catch pulse cubes that spawn on the beat while avoiding bouncing red glitches. Catching cubes builds your Juice combo and increases your score. The difficulty ramps up as you play, with glitches spawning more frequently up to a maximum rate. A run ends when you lose all three of your lives by missing cubes or hitting glitches, or when you reach the cube target for your difficulty.
Tips
- Watch the four beat pips at the top of the screen to anticipate exactly when the next pulse cube will spawn based on the music tempo.
- Keep moving to avoid the red glitches, which bounce off the edges of the screen. You have a brief 1.15-second invulnerability cooldown after taking damage.
- Focus on catching the pulse cubes before their lifetime expires. On medium difficulty, you need to collect 40 cubes to successfully finish the surge.

How do I get a high score?
Catch pulse cubes in a row to build your Juice combo. Your score increases by 100 times your current combo plus the track's BPM for every single cube you successfully catch.
What happens if I miss a cube?
If a pulse cube's lifetime expires before you catch it, you will lose one of your three lives and your combo will reset to one. The screen will also shake.
How do I unlock the crown?
You must complete all six core achievements first. This requires finishing the easy, medium, and hard modes, and reaching combo chains of 50, 100, and 150 during your runs.
