More about this game
Color Shift Runner is an endless runner where you must match your character's color to the upcoming neon slides. Your character automatically runs forward along the grid path, and every tap makes them jump with a power of 1180 while simultaneously cycling their color through red, blue, and yellow. As you clear slides, your score increases by one point and the base speed of 650 rises by 28. The run ends immediately if you hit a slide while displaying the wrong color.
Tips
- Every tap changes your color, so you must plan your jumps carefully to land on the correct color before hitting the 220-pixel wide slide.
- The game speeds up by 28 units for every point you score, so your reaction time must improve as the 880-pixel slide spacing approaches faster.
- You have a brief 0.115-second coyote time window to jump just after leaving the ground, and a 0.14-second jump buffer before landing.
Questions
How do I change colors?
Your color changes automatically every time you jump. It cycles through red, blue, and yellow in that exact order, so you may need multiple jumps to get the right color.
What happens if I land with the wrong color?
If your color does not match the slide when you pass through the gate or impact its collision box, the run ends immediately and displays your final score.
How do I know when the next slide is coming?
The game displays the color name of the next slide at the top of the screen, along with a distance indicator in meters that counts down as you approach it.
