More about this game

MinePop is a grid-based logic puzzle where you must find and flag every hidden mine without setting any off. You start each level by opening a safe tile, which reveals numbers showing how many mines are in the adjacent squares. Using these clues, you deduce which tiles are safe to open and which must be flagged. As you clear boards, the grid grows larger and the mine density increases, requiring more careful deduction. Opening a single mine ends your run.

Tips
  • Your first tap on a new board is always safe, as the mines are generated only after you make your initial move.
  • If a tile shows a 1 and only has one unopened tile touching it, that unopened tile is guaranteed to be a mine.
  • Empty spaces with a count of zero will automatically flood-reveal all connected safe tiles, giving you a large safe area to work from.
Questions

How do I win a level?

You must correctly place a flag on every single mine on the board. The level automatically clears once all mines are flagged and no safe tiles are flagged.

How does the difficulty scale?

Level 1 starts on a 6 by 6 grid with 6 mines. As you advance, the grid expands up to 10 by 13 and the mine density increases up to 25 percent.

What happens if I make a mistake?

Opening a tile that hides a mine instantly pops it, ending the level. You will have to restart the current board from the beginning.
