More about this game
The Ballroom of Karma is an interactive gothic tale where you guide twin sisters Celeste and Lenore through a fateful night. You read the story from alternating perspectives and select choices that shift the Karma meter, changing the tone of the ballroom. At any time, you can open a dialogue box to ask the current character a question directly. The run ends after six scenes, revealing one of several endings based on your karma balance and the choices you made for each sister.
Tips
- The Karma meter ranges from -100 to 100, and extreme values (like dropping below -45 or rising above 65) will change the ballroom's lighting and the final ending.
- Choices that favor temptation or revenge usually lower karma, while choices favoring honesty and healing raise it.
- You can ask the characters anything, and they will reply in-character based on the current scene and your karma.
Questions
How many endings are there?
There are four distinct endings. Which one you get depends on your final karma score (ranging from -100 to 100) and the specific choices you made for Celeste and Lenore.
What does the Karma meter do?
The Karma meter tracks the moral balance of your choices. It alters the visual atmosphere of the game and determines the ultimate fate of the sisters.
Can I talk to both sisters?
You can speak to whichever sister is currently the focus of the scene. The perspective shifts between Celeste and Lenore as the acts progress.
