More about this game
In Puppet Master: Magic String, you control a wooden marionette by pulling its strings to navigate a theatrical stage. The goal is to reach the exit while managing your balance on narrow bridges and avoiding hazards like swinging sandbags and chimes. You can swing the puppet's arms to smash crates, strike guards, and throw heavy weights. The run ends when you lose all 3 health points or successfully reach the golden stage door to earn applause.
Tips
- When the tension cue appears, pull toward the stage during the 0.9-second grace window to recover your balance before falling.
- Use the Robot archetype to magnetically grab the heavy stage weight from up to 380 units away, then release to throw it.
- Swing an arm string with momentum to deal damage to the guards; the Knight's heavy impact deals 2 damage instead of 1.
Questions
How do I jump or glide?
Pull the leg or torso strings downward quickly. If you choose the Ninja archetype, you can double jump. The Dragon archetype can glide if you hold the string down.
How do I defeat the guards?
Swing an arm string with momentum to strike the guards. Guards have 3 health points by default. You can also throw the heavy stage weight at them for 2 damage.
What happens if I lose my balance?
If you tilt too far on the bridge, you enter a recovery state. Pull a string toward the stage to regain balance. Failing to recover costs 1 health point.
