More about this game
Your goal is to complete a five-stage relay by hopping across moving clay clouds and grabbing flags. You start with three hearts and a 45-second timer for each stage. The difficulty increases as clouds begin to move in circular orbits or fade in and out like mist. If you fall below the screen or the timer reaches zero, you lose a heart and return to the last checkpoint. A run ends when you clear all five stages or lose all your hearts.
Tips
- Hold the jump button to clear wider gaps, as holding it reduces gravity during your upward arc for extra height.
- Watch the fading mist clouds in stage five closely; they operate on a 2.7-second cycle and become solid again after fading.
- Hit the checkpoint marker in the middle of each stage so you only fall back to that spot instead of the beginning.
Questions
How is my final rank calculated?
Your final score combines your collected flags worth 5 points each, remaining hearts worth 7 points each, and a speed bonus. Scoring 218 points or higher earns you an S rank.
What happens if the stage timer runs out?
If the 45-second stage timer reaches zero, you lose one of your three starting hearts. You are then sent back to your last checkpoint, and the timer resets.
How do the mist clouds work?
Introduced in the Misty Quickstep stage, mist clouds slowly fade out and lose their solidity. You will fall right through them if their transparency drops below 55 percent.
