More about this game
In Champions of the Realm, your goal is to destroy the rival citadel before the 6-round limit. Each round, you draw cards and spend mana to deploy units to three lanes or cast spells. Spare mana banks into spell mana for later use. When you hold the golden token, you can command your units to strike. The run ends when a citadel's health drops to zero, or after round 6 where total board power breaks ties.
Tips
- Unspent mana automatically banks into spell mana up to a maximum of 3. Use this mechanic to save up for powerful spells in later rounds when regular mana isn't enough.
- You can only initiate combat when you hold the golden attack token. This token alternates between you and the rival at the start of each new round.
- If neither citadel falls by the end of round 6, ties are broken by board power. Keep high-health units like the Verdant Warden alive to boost your total score.
Questions
How do I win the duel?
You win by reducing the rival citadel's health from its starting 12 points down to 0. If both citadels survive all 6 rounds, the player with the highest remaining health or total board power claims victory.
What does the Pass button do?
Passing hands the turn over to your rival without playing a card. If both players pass consecutively, the current round ends, mana is refreshed, and new cards are drawn for the next round.
How does lane combat work?
When an attack is ordered, units facing each other in the same lane deal their attack damage simultaneously. If a defending lane is empty, the attacking unit deals its damage directly to the enemy citadel.
