Step into the role of a nurse preparing for a catheter insertion. Your goal is to protect your patient by making the safest choices. Move around the room to inspect objects like the hand hygiene station and supply trolley. Choose the safest action from a list of options to earn 20 points, or 5 points for a less safe choice. A run ends when you complete all 5 tasks in the stage.
Tips
- Always start with clean hands! Visit the hand hygiene station before touching the patient or sterile supplies.
- Read the patient's chart to confirm if a catheter is truly needed based on the indications.
- If you're unsure, tap the Hint button or talk to Nurse Grace for advice.
Questions
How do I score points?
You earn 20 points for choosing the safest action on your first try. If you choose a less safe option, you earn 5 points and receive feedback from your mentor.
What happens if I make a mistake?
If you make a mistake, you'll earn fewer points for that task, and Nurse Grace will explain why the choice wasn't the safest option.
How do I unlock the next stage?
You need to complete all 5 tasks in Stage 1 to unlock the next stage. Currently, only Stage 1 is available, with more stages arriving in future updates.
