More about this game
In The Fourth Waller: Roseville, you step into a room to answer questions from the characters you wrote, Jack and Lisa. The goal is to maintain the room's Safety and Coherence meters, which start at 64 and 72 respectively. You choose dialogue options to respond to their questions about why you wrote their specific traits. Between questions, you must tap the screen when an expanding ring aligns with a stationary ring. Telling the truth increases Safety, while timing your taps correctly increases Coherence. The run ends after four questions, with the outcome depending on your final meter levels.
Tips
- Always choose the truthful dialogue option to increase your Safety meter. Honest answers add between 12 and 18 points, while avoiding the truth drains your meter.
- You have exactly three chances to align the rings during each ripple phase. Wait for the expanding ring to reach a radius of 182 before tapping.
- A successful ring alignment rewards you with 9 Coherence points, but missing the 42-point timing window will penalize you by subtracting 7 Coherence points.
Questions
What happens if I miss the ring timing?
If you miss the timing window, you will lose 7 Coherence points. You have three attempts per ripple phase to get it right before the story automatically advances to the next question.
How do I get the best ending?
To get the best ending, you need to finish the story with your Safety meter at 62 or higher and your Coherence meter at 48 or higher. This proves you are safe enough to return.
What do the dialogue choices do?
Dialogue choices directly affect your Safety meter. Truthful answers increase Safety by up to 18 points, while defensive or evasive answers decrease it by up to 20 points.
