More about this game

Your goal is to navigate a tense backyard confrontation by choosing how Craig reacts to an aggressive adult. The core loop involves reading the unfolding drama and selecting one of two or three dialogue options per scene. Each choice permanently shifts Craig's internal meters for Innocence, Fear, and Defiance. The situation grows more intense as Todd's verbal attacks escalate. A run ends after exactly five beats, unlocking one of three distinct memory endings based on your final meter values.

Tips
  • Keep an eye on your starting stats: Innocence begins at 70, Fear at 10, and Defiance at 20. Every choice shifts these values significantly.
  • To unlock the Defiant ending, you must raise your Defiance to 60 or higher while keeping your Innocence meter at 52 or above.
  • Avoid options that agree with Todd if you want a good ending, as they drastically increase your Fear meter and can trigger the Canon Broken Mindset.
Questions

How many endings are there?

There are three possible endings: Defiant Protector, Canon Broken Mindset, and Secret Ally. The ending you receive depends entirely on your final meter values after the fifth story beat.

What happens if my Fear gets too high?

If your Fear meter reaches 58 or higher, or if your Innocence drops to 35 or lower, you will unlock the Canon Broken Mindset ending.

How long is one playthrough?

A single playthrough consists of exactly five story beats. You make one choice per beat, so it only takes a few minutes to reach an ending.
