How to play
- Choose an action: Attack, Heal, or Magic.
- Manage your HP, MP, and limited healing charges.
- Defeat the monster to advance to the next floor.
- Rest at campfires every third floor to restore resources and gain a temporary buff.
- Choose a permanent upgrade when you die to become stronger for the next run.

Dungeon Gauntlet: Turn-Based Combat is a roguelike game where you descend through a dungeon, fighting monsters in turn-based combat. You must manage your HP, magic, and healing salves to survive. Every third floor, you reach a campfire to restore your resources and choose a temporary upgrade. When your HP reaches zero, your run ends, but you can choose a permanent relic to increase your max HP, attack, or magic for future runs.
Tips
- Magic costs 3 MP and deals high damage while inflicting a burn effect on the enemy.
- You only have 2 healing charges, but you gain an extra charge every 6 floors.
- Campfires appear every 3 floors, fully restoring your HP and MP.
Questions
How do I get more magic?
You restore 2 MP after defeating a monster and 1 MP if you survive an enemy attack. Campfires also fully restore your MP.
What happens when I die?
When your HP reaches zero, your run ends. You can then choose a permanent relic to increase your max HP by 12, attack by 3, or magic by 6 for all future runs.
How do campfires work?
Campfires appear every 3 floors. They fully restore your HP and MP, and allow you to choose a temporary upgrade for the rest of your run: +24 Max HP, +7 Attack, or +12 Magic.
