More about this game

Your goal is to survive six floors of a dangerous basement by defeating enemies and bosses. You start with seven hearts and must clear rooms of monsters to open doors. Along the way, you can find treasure rooms containing one of nine unique items that upgrade your speed, damage, or tear effects. The difficulty increases as you descend through the floors, facing tougher bosses with more health. A run ends when you lose all your hearts or defeat the final boss on the sixth floor.

Tips
  • Search for the treasure room before fighting the boss to get an upgrade like the Milk Tooth for 50% more damage or the Onion for a 25% faster tear rate.
  • Watch out for trap rooms with spikes; you don't need to clear them, just carefully navigate around the spikes and move straight to the next door.
  • Collect the Compass if you find it, as it reveals all room types on your mini-map and heals one heart, helping you plan your route to the boss.
Questions

How many floors are there?

There are six distinct floors to descend: The Basement, The Cistern, The Burrows, The Catacombs, The Deep, and finally The Last Memory, where you face the final boss.

How do I heal my character?

You have a 45% chance to recover one heart after clearing a normal room. You can also heal by collecting specific items like the Felt Heart, which heals three hearts.

What do the mini-map symbols mean?

The star symbol marks the treasure room, the X marks the boss room, the exclamation point warns of a trap room, and the dot shows your starting location.
