Your goal is to protect Jack's cane from a flock of cheeky ducks at Burford Pond. Ducks spawn on the right and waddle toward the cane on the left. You must tap them to shoo them away before they take a nip. The game progresses through six 12-second waves, each revealing a new myth about the cane. A run ends in victory after clearing the sixth myth, or in defeat if the ducks nip the cane three times and deplete your hearts.
Tips
- Ducks spawn every 1.6 seconds by default. Keep a steady rhythm and tap them as soon as they appear on the right side of the screen.
- Each wave lasts for 12 seconds. You must clear every remaining duck on the screen after the timer to advance to the next myth.
- The cane can only take three nips before the lecture is interrupted. Prioritize ducks that are getting dangerously close to the left side.
Questions
How many myths are there to learn?
There are six myths in total, such as 'The cane is not bread' and 'The cane is not a weapon.' You learn one new myth for each 12-second wave you survive.
What happens if a duck reaches the cane?
If a duck gets too close, it nips the cane and you lose one of your three hearts. Losing all three hearts ends the game and interrupts the lecture.
How do I beat the game?
You win by surviving all six waves. You must keep the cane safe until the final myth, 'The cane is not optional,' is fully taught and the ducks are cleared.
