More about this game
The Jones Way Splash Fair is a timed arcade game where you toss sponges at moving targets. Your goal is to splash community members like Howard, Jack, Owen, and Lisa within the 45-second time limit. Each successful hit earns you 100 points and reveals a short community fact. As your score climbs, the target's movement speed increases slightly, making it harder to land a hit. Consecutive hits build a streak multiplier that adds a 25-point bonus per hit, but a single miss resets it.
Tips
- Lead your targets carefully. The sponge takes exactly 0.34 seconds to reach the back of the booth, so aim ahead of where the character is currently moving.
- Prioritize accuracy over rapid throwing. Missing a single shot resets your streak, costing you the valuable 25-point escalating bonus you get for consecutive successful splashes.
- Watch out for the speed increase. For every 700 points you score, the target moves slightly faster, capping out at an eight-tier speed boost.
Questions
How does the streak scoring system work?
After your first hit, consecutive hits build a streak. Each streak level adds a 25-point bonus to your standard 100-point splash. If you miss the target, your streak multiplier completely resets to zero.
Who are the people on the targets?
The targets feature community founders: Howard, Jack, Owen, and Lisa. Splashing them reveals short facts about their lives, such as Jack playing guitar by touch or Owen's deadlift challenge.
Does the game get harder as I play?
Yes, the target's horizontal movement speed gradually increases based on your current score. It starts at a base speed of 175 and scales up slightly as you pass 700-point milestones.
