More about this game
In Paint & Hide: Color Clash, five Hiders face off against three Seekers in a vibrant 3D arena. Hiders get a 1:30 prep phase to transform into crates, barrels, or cones and match the color of specific walls like the pink mural or lime bench. Once the gate opens, Seekers have 2:00 to search the map. Seekers shoot water to wash off disguises. The round ends when the Seekers soak all five Hiders, or when the timer runs out and the surviving props are revealed.
Tips
- Hiders can use their Smoke ability to create a 3.2-radius cloud for 2.4 seconds, breaking the Seekers' line of sight during a chase.
- Seekers should alternate between their 7-radius Scan ability to detect nearby props and their 4-second Speed Boost to chase down fleeing targets.
- Keep an eye on your water blaster's 1.7-second cooldown; missing a shot gives a Hider enough time to reposition and blend into a new wall.
Questions
How long does a match last?
A full match takes exactly three and a half minutes. Hiders get 1:30 of prep time to find a spot, followed by a 2:00 search phase where Seekers try to find them.
What happens if a Seeker sprays me?
If you are hit by a Seeker's water blast, your paint washes off and your prop disguise is destroyed. You are immediately caught and removed from the current round.
How do I know if a Seeker scanned me?
If a Seeker uses their scan ability and you are within 7 units, a glowing marker appears on your character for 3.2 seconds, revealing your exact position to the enemy team.
