More about this game

In this short narrative game, you guide two-year-old Emma as she stands up for her friend Jack. A stranger misunderstands Jack's white cane, and you must choose Emma's responses across three distinct scenes. Each choice affects two meters: Courage, which starts at 15, and Learning, which starts at 10. Firm answers build Courage by up to 35 points, while teaching answers build Learning. The run ends after the third choice, giving you a specific ending based on whether your combined average reaches the 80-point goal.

Tips
  • Firm answers give up to 35 Courage points, while kind teaching answers give up to 35 Learning points. Balance them carefully to maximize both meters.
  • If you choose to stay quiet in the first scene, you gain only 20 percent of the base Courage and zero Learning points, hurting your final score.
  • To earn the Misconception challenged badge at the end, you must pick at least one choice that heavily educates the stranger and one that strongly protects Jack.
Questions

How do I get the best ending?

To get the Small voice, big change ending, your combined Courage and Learning average must reach the resolve goal of 80 points by the end of the third scene.

What do the different choice colors mean?

Good choices turn green and give balanced points, firm choices turn orange and maximize Courage, and missed opportunities turn gray, giving very few points to either meter.

How do the meters work at the start?

Emma begins the story with 15 Courage and 10 Learning. Every choice adds a percentage of the 35 possible points to these meters, capping at a maximum of 100.
