More about this game
In Rhythms of the Heart, you help Jack perform a song for his family by tapping notes as they reach the guitar line. The goal is to keep the Family Joy meter from emptying over a 50-second song. You gain joy for perfect or good hits and lose it for misses. Long ribbon notes require you to hold until the glow finishes. The run ends in success if you survive the song, or fails if the joy meter hits zero.
Tips
- Aim for the 135-millisecond perfect window to earn extra joy and a heart burst.
- Don't release ribbon notes early, or you will lose streak and joy.
- If you miss, the penalty is 7 joy points, so refocus quickly to rebuild your meter.
Questions
How do I win?
You must survive the full 50-second song without the Family Joy meter dropping to zero. Keep hitting notes to maintain the meter.
What happens if I miss a note?
Missing a note breaks your streak and deducts 7 points from your Family Joy meter. You also lose joy if you tap when no note is near.
How do I get a perfect hit?
Tap exactly when the note crosses the guitar line. You have a 135-millisecond window to score a perfect hit, which grants bonus joy.
