More about this game
In Owen’s Sightless Gains, your goal is to stay on beat for a 75-second training session. The core loop involves tapping for quick reps and holding for isometric reps as the cues shrink. As you build a streak of 10 perfect reps, the screen fades to black, forcing you to rely entirely on the audio cues and your own internal rhythm. A run ends when the 75-second timer runs out, and your best sightless time is recorded.
Tips
- Pay close attention to the audio cues; a high tone signals when to release a hold.
- The tap window is 190 milliseconds, so try to anticipate the beat rather than reacting to it.
- If you miss a beat, your streak resets and the screen brightens, so take a breath and find the rhythm again.
Questions
How do I enter sightless mode?
You need to hit 10 consecutive reps successfully. Once you reach a streak of 10, the screen will fade to black, and you must rely on the audio.
What happens if I hold too long?
If you hold past the 230-millisecond release window, you will miss the rep, your streak will reset to zero, and you will lose sightless mode.
How is my score calculated?
You earn 100 focus points per successful rep. If your accuracy is within 70 milliseconds of the perfect timing, you earn an extra 50 points.
