More about this game
In Gem Quest: Match & Blast, your goal is to reach a target score and collect a specific number of a certain gem type. You must do this by swapping adjacent gems to create lines of three or more matching colors. As you progress, the score targets increase and obstacles like ice, crates, and stones appear on the board. A run ends when you successfully complete the level goals, or if you run out of moves or time.
Tips
- Matching four or more gems creates a cross blast that clears a large area and shakes the board.
- Keep an eye on the specific gem type you need to collect, as matching other gems won't count towards that goal.
- If you are running out of time, use the freeze power-up to stop the clock for 10 seconds.
Questions
What happens if I run out of moves?
If your move counter reaches zero before you complete the score and collection goals, the level ends and you will have to retry it.
How do I break the crates and ice?
You can break crates by making a match adjacent to them. Ice is broken by matching the gem that is trapped inside it.
What do the power-ups do?
The hammer clears a single cell, the bomb clears a 3x3 area, the rainbow clears all gems of one type, shuffle rearranges the board, and freeze stops the timer.
