More about this game

In Dungeon Crawler Mayhem, you explore a grid-based dungeon room by room. Your primary goal is to collect all the coins scattered on the floor to awaken the exit portal and descend to the next level. Every step you take advances the turn, causing slimes to move and traps to toggle their active states. The difficulty increases as you go deeper, adding more coins, slimes, and hazards. The run ends if you lose all three of your hearts to enemies or traps.

Tips
  • Spikes toggle every step, while fire traps toggle every two steps. Time your movements carefully or use the Wait button to let hazards deactivate.
  • Collect scrolls to gain a magic aura with 18 charges. This allows you to safely defeat slimes for 25 points, but the aura depletes by 0.25 every turn.
  • Look out for hidden doors and gems in the walls starting on level 2. Finding a gem doubles your current score, while a door skips the level.
Questions

How do I defeat slimes?

You can only defeat slimes if you collect a scroll to activate your magic aura. While the aura is active, moving next to a slime will dissolve it and award you 25 points.

What does the Wait button do?

The Wait button advances the turn without moving your character. This is useful for toggling spikes and fire traps, or letting slimes move out of your way without risking damage.

How do I heal?

You can restore lost hearts by collecting red potions found on the floor, which heal one heart. Every four levels, you can also buy a heart and a new robe color from the merchant chest for 1000 score.
